Project:
In collaboration with Lisa Summerscales of McLaren&Co, Lisa initially conducted workshops with Charity Horizon's Directors and Co-Founders, Charlie and Leanne, to develop the brand and messaging strategy.
My role was to create a logo that reflected the evolving brand identity, focusing on both the icon and typography to clearly communicate the organisation’s purpose and ethos. Additionally, I was tasked with incorporating the strapline into the design, ensuring that the logo remained simple, memorable, and versatile across various media platforms, while avoiding overly trendy elements that could quickly become outdated.
The colour palette was carefully selected to evoke emotions that align with Charity Horizon's brand story, while also differentiating it from others in the sector. Given the brand's inclusive nature, it was essential that all design elements adhered to best practices in accessibility.
Based on the selected logo, comprehensive brand guidelines were created. These guidelines provide clear direction on the typeface selection, colour palettes, accessibility standards, as well as the brand's values, mission and tone of voice.
The ideal outcome was achieved as the client received precisely what they envisioned, and beyond, driving their business growth in a manner that aligns with their unique goals.
