How does it all work?

Every project is different, sometimes you may just want me to get on with the job and other times it’s good to have a process. 

We need you to get on with a job:

As long as I have an initial chat with you to help me understand your business and deliverables and I have a named contact and details who I can direct any questions to then we’re off to a good working relationship.

What I need from you:

• A clear brief
• Brand guidelines (if available)
• Sizes, especially if you have custom print/digital requirements 
• Copy and images
• Logos (if available)

Then we’re pretty much ready to go.

We need a process:

1/ Setting the brief.

Every project is different but my favourite part is the starting point, this where I get to discover and learn, which consists of an initial chat between you and I. This stage enables me to understand your business, who I am designing for and who I will be working with. If you don’t have a brief - just an idea or some copy don’t worry, I am a creative thinker who can help and advise you.

I will work with you to identify and agree project objectives, deliverables, deadlines and budget.

2 / Research & ideas.

I will review all the information from the brief/idea and begin looking at styles, competitors and trends which could influence the ideas.

3 / Creative development.

This is where I’m in my element. Creating concepts and then selecting and developing the strongest ideas and presenting them to you, explaining my thought process. Feedback from you will follow, and is key to us working together to get the right result. Any amendments are made then the chosen visuals are approved. 

4 / Finalisation & delivery.

This is the most rewarding part. Once you are happy, which is vitally important! I will supply all final artwork files, or supply to the printer, or source one for you. I like to build long-term relationships with all my clients, so once we have completed your project we can hopefully find other ways to work together again very soon.
