How does it all work?
Every project is unique — sometimes you may prefer me to take the lead and work independently, while at other times, a structured process is beneficial for ensuring clarity and alignment.
We need you to get on with a job:
As long as I have an initial chat with you to help me understand your business and deliverables and I have a named contact and details who I can direct any questions to then we’re off to a good working relationship.
What I need from you:
• A clear brief
• Brand guidelines (if available)
• Sizes, especially if you have custom print/digital requirements
• Copy and images
• Logos (if available)
Then we’re pretty much ready to go.
We need a process:
1/ Setting the brief.
Every project is unique, and for me, the most exciting part is the beginning. This is where I get to learn about you, your business, and your objectives. The process starts with an initial conversation where we discuss your vision, your target audience, and any key stakeholders involved. If you don’t yet have a formal brief, don’t worry — I’m a creative problem-solver and can help shape your ideas, refine the concept, or even craft the brief from scratch. Together, we’ll define clear project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget to ensure we’re all aligned from the start.
2 / Research & ideas.
Once I have all the necessary information, I dive into research — exploring relevant styles, competitors, industry trends, and potential influences for the project. This stage helps shape the direction of the creative concepts and ensures that I bring fresh, relevant ideas to the table.
3 / Creative development.
This is where the magic happens. I’ll start developing initial concepts and carefully refine them, selecting the strongest ideas to present to you. I’ll explain my thought process behind each design, ensuring everything aligns with your goals and vision. Your feedback at this stage is essential — together, we’ll fine-tune the designs to ensure we’re on track. Once we settle on the final concept, I’ll make any necessary adjustments and get the visuals ready for approval.
4 / Finalisation & delivery.
The most rewarding part of the process is bringing everything to life. Once you’re completely happy with the design, I’ll supply the final artwork files, ready for production. If needed, I can also liaise with printers or source a printing partner to ensure the final product is of the highest quality. I strive to build long-term relationships with my clients, so once we’ve completed this project, I look forward to exploring other opportunities to collaborate in the future.
